DUE: Wednesday, October 30, 2024 3:30pm

The team leader will submit a pdf version of the notebook showing all the work to answer the questions.

The first cell of the notebook should have a list of the team members (first and last names) with the team leader in bold. (Hint: Markdown cell).

Scheduling

  1. Determine which team members have an approved computational essay topic.
  2. Schedule 10 minutes for each of these topics

10 Minute Section

  1. Team leader creates a new section of the notebook with the presenters name
  2. A student presents their topic (2 minutes)
    • Discuss topic idea
    • Describe how the project has incorporated feedback from Peer Evaluation 1
  3. Each remaining member of the team provides feedback and questions to the student (8 minutes)
  4. Team leader captures this feedback in the notebook

Potential Questions to Ask/Feedback Prompts

  • Is the research question clearly stated?
  • Does the topic clearly involve spatial analysis?
  • Are spatial relationships and geographic context central to the question?
  • Considerations for emphasizing or incorporating spatial aspects more effectively.
  • Are the data sources identified?
  • Are these data sources appropriate for the research question?
  • Suggestions for alternative or additional data sources, if needed.

All team members, whether they are doing a computational essay or not, must participate in the peer evaluation process.
